About the site

Morrisons has operated a store in the centre of Camden for over 10 years. We are now looking to invest in our store and redevelop the wider site.

Working with Barratt London and the award-winning architects behind Kings Cross Central, Allies & Morrison, we are developing a masterplan and planning application for the site. At the heart of our proposals will be a new look Morrisons store and petrol filling station, together with a new mixed community of homes, flexible office space and public spaces.

We recognise this is an important and historic site in Camden with many layers of industrial heritage and diverse communities surrounding it.

We are developing our proposals for a new community in the heart of Camden and will be updating this website with our progress, so please revisit for updates. Alternatively, you can sign up to our mailing list for updates by filling in your details on the contact us page.

In November 2016, we held our first round of public consultation events to share our initial plans and hear your views. Since then, we have reviewed comments– you can view our detailed feedback report here – and taken a number of points into consideration.

We have continued to liaise with residents, business owners and community groups over the past few months to help inform the final design.

To hear thoughts on the latest plans we held a second public exhibition on 21 and 22 April 2017. We will consider all feedback received as we finalise the plans.
